Yesterday when I was surfing through the sky above Latur with the help of Google Earth, I got this amazing pic. It shows a white cloud and its shadow. Don't know why but I found this view very amazing.
Don't forget to check out arial view of my home.

My home on google earth

Tuesday, June 20, 2006

Today, after a long time, I was surfing net in our college library. And just for timepass, I started google earth. I was amazed to see clean snaps of Latur for first time. So I started looking for view of my home, college, school and all the places of my interest. Here I'm putting up the top view of my home. Other memories of mine will soon be here.

Orkut is addictive

Wednesday, June 14, 2006

Is there any doubt with this? Everyone who uses this great service by google will accept this universal fact.
I'm on orkut since August 2004. So it had been almost 2 years now. Last 1 year, I was too active on orkut and my scrap count went upto 3000. This was the saturation time when I started feeling bugged up. So all I did was started deleting each scrap. And this way, I managed to bring my scrap count to zero. Today I'm feeling so relaxed after deleting them all.
Its not that orkut is plain timepass. But it surely is when you use it behind a certain limit, the way I was using to increase scrap count. And once I got internet at my room and plenty of time to waste, the timepass had to increase and it did. But I should never forget that I got in touch with many old friends and got few new from orkut only. So, I won't mistake deleting my orkut account as some friend of mine suggested me.

Last exam of engineering

Friday, June 09, 2006

Tomorrow will be last exam of my engineering life. Of course if I don't get any backlogs :)
And I've started feeling bored right now only. I'm just waiting for 5:30 PM tomorrow when I'll be out of this college. It won't be much easy for me to digest the fact that now we are no part of this college. But still I'll be more excited about my new life, new job, entry in professional life and all. Now just looking forward for fast finish of this night.
Now I'm signing off. Lot of emotions to scribble down. But its high time for study. After all this is last time I'll be studying. So, wait until tomorrow to read my emotions. Bye

Law and order in Pune

Sunday, June 04, 2006

R R Patil claims of having excellent Law and Order condition in Maharashtra. But what I saw today in Kothrud, barely 100 meters away from MIT; is totally contradictory.
It was 9 PM and I was going towards chaitanya. I saw crowd outside Naivedyam. A bunch of culprits from neighboring "Kanifnath" society were having lot of tod phod at naivedyam and neighboring shops. Chairs were thrown on road, cold drink bottles were broken, wafer racks were thrown away, vegetable crates were thrown away, coin boxes were broken. Reason: unknown.
Same thing was repeated in all the shops along Vanraji and Sneha paradise. Within 5 minutes, shutters of all shops from Durga Mess upto Laxmi Book Depot were closed.
If all this is happening in such high profile areas and in the close vicinity to such reknowned educational institute, we can just imagine what goes on at other places.
Despite all these thing, how can the fucking ministers say that "Law and order is under control".
One of my friend tried calling police. But the response from them was "You have to come here and give report in person. Then we will come". Bloody assholes.

Dal Bati

Saturday, June 03, 2006

Was thinking what to put up on blog? After thinking a lot, still couldn't come up with anything. That was when Shantanu told me, "Today we had Dal Bati. Why don't you put up about it?"
Nice Idea, isn't it..!! So, let me tell you about this food. This is a Rajasthani cuisine and had been my faourite since childhood. Dal, Bati, Churma, Gatthe ki Sabzi.. Ummmm.. What more will one need? Its just like heaven for me.
If I'm left alone on an island, I will just need a computer with internet connection and Dal Bati to live.
