The Utterances of a Peculiar Mindset

I was always curious about these various phobias. Why are these words always so difficult to remember and spell? Can't they have a simpler words? Probably I have a phobiophobia (Fear of phobias)..
Here are few phobias just for your knowledge..

Ailurophobia is fear of cats.
Acrophobia is fear of height.
Dromophobia is fear of crossing the road.
Anthophobia is fear of flowers.
Bacteriophobia is fear of bacteria.
Bibiliophobia is fear of books.
Cynophobia is fear of dogs.
Entomophobia is fear of insects.
Hematophobia is fear of blood.
Hydrophobia is fear of water.
Monophobia is fear of being alone.
Nyctophobia is fear of darkness.
Ombrophobia is fear of rain.
Phonophobia is fear of noise.
Pyrophobia is fear of fire.


Should we add a new term?
Blogophobia is fear of writing blogs. :-)
